ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Check order sheets of goods expected to be received that day and ensure that incoming goods are properly inspected and documented.

·         Physically examine and approve the actual goods for quantity, quality, weight, price, etc., and verify the accuracy with the purchase order.

·         Obtain the original supplier’s packing slip which must be stamped and signed, and attach it to the receiving record for later comparison with the purchase order.

·         Inform the Chef immediately of the arrival of meat, poultry and seafood. Tagged it on arrival, top is stuck of unit, bottom is sent to the Cost Control with original packing slip and receiving record.

·         To receive engineering parts or machinery, these items must be checked with one of the chief engineer or his representative.

·         If there is no invoice or packing slip accompanying incoming goods, one must be made out and signed by the Receiving Clerk and the Delivery Person.

·         After all incoming goods have been inspected and receiving records verified, the goods should be forwarded to the store room or the department concerned immediately and not left lying around.

·         In case of short delivery, an outstanding order list shall be filled-out and sent to Purchasing with a copy to the Executive Chef and Cost Controller.

·         All incoming goods should be posted to the system (VHP) – through the PO that has been prepared by Purchasing.

·         Each delivery of goods should be completed with delivery order form, and original invoice. All original documents should be submitted to accounts payable.

·         All goods leaving the premises such as empty bottles, repairs, or goods borrowed by other hotels must also pass through this department. Nothing is authorized to leave the hotel premises without an out-going record.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

·         Receive products from vendor deliveries and unload trucks at the loading docks

·         Compare packing lists to company purchase orders and ensure that the products in each delivery match the packing list

·         Collaborate with our marketing department to develop a schedule for assembling and displaying manufacturer marketing pieces on the sales floor

·         Update the product inventory as products are received and added to our inventory


GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  •    Minimum 1 year experience in same position
    Minimum Diploma Degree
    Positive Attitude and Able to work under pressure
    Proficient with computer system and Microsoft Excel for Daily operation
